Vaultis — Privacy Policy

Vaultis is an offline password manager. We collect no data.

• Vaultis has no internet permission. The operating system prevents the app from making any network connection. Your data cannot be transmitted to us or to any third party.
• All passwords are stored only on your device, encrypted locally (AES-256-GCM) under keys derived from your master password (Argon2id).
• The app contains no analytics, no advertising, no trackers, and performs no crash reporting.
• Backups are created only when you explicitly export them; backup files are encrypted with a passphrase of your choice and stay wherever you save them.
• Biometric unlock uses Android Keystore-bound cryptographic keys; biometric data itself never leaves your device's secure hardware and is not accessed by Vaultis.

If you forget your master password, no one — including us — can recover your data, because no copy of your password or key exists outside your device.
